Doronit Shlank-Bloomenthal

I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) with over a decade of experience treating individuals with mental health issues and substance abuse.  I have a Master's of Arts  in Clinical Health Psychology from Yeshiva University, and a Master's of Social Work from Simmons College.  Before opening my practice, I worked in a court-mandated DUI program; an inpatient psychiatric unit; an outpatient mental health facility; a short-term crisis stabilization unit; and an outpatient facility that provided Medication-Assisted Treatment for opioid dependence.  I have worked with adolescents and adults, collaborated with physicians and family members, and supervised social work student interns.  I have trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing and Trauma-Informed Care.
